- The Corporate Strategy Consulting group partners with C-level, EVP, and SVP executives to drive the most pressing strategic initiatives and solve the most critical strategic and operations challenges across Dell Technologies businesses (Dell EMC, Dell, VMware, RSA, Pivotal, etc.)
- Key responsibilities:
- Create complex models for addressable market (TAM) and opportunity sizing, forecasting, and other ad-hoc strategic analyses
- Aggregate critical inputs to drive strategic decision-making by leveraging a broad network of primary research reports and by conducting internal and external customer and partner interviews
- Present and articulate complex analyses to executives highlighting key model drivers and relevant thesis / risks associated with a strategic decision
- Build relationships, trust, and credibility with senior executives and core business partners for cross-functional initiatives

- Developed body of deep competitive intelligence on major public cloud and semiconductor vendors via 50+ internal and external interviews, parsing 100+ analyst reports, and doing self-guided research
- Partnered cross-functionally with business unit leaders across product, engineering, operations, and sales to develop playbook to be used in forming new partnerships with other technology companies

Bookings Exception Process
- Received directive from CEO to eliminate conflict of interest that had arisen for inter-company sellers due to an inefficient bookings process.
- Performed project management to stand up entirely new process that become the template for all future inter-company bookings (~$1B)
- Worked with IT, accounting, business intelligence, sales, operations to develop cross-functional process involving seven workstreams, five interwoven processes, 20+ personnel to manage expedited process changes

Server Business Transformation
- Developed holistic tracking system for over >$1B cost savings initiative across the value chain
- Worked with engineering, sales, marketing, procurement, supply chain, and many more cross-functional stakeholder groups
- Responsible for regular executive roll-ups, progress reports, and worked directly with product manager
High Value Workloads Initiative
- Bain & Co suggested new cloud-based sales motions. Was handed directive to develop new benchmark methodology
- Partnered with cloud strategy team to adopt methodology, which was eventually leveraged within presentations to CEO
NRE Tracking
- Dell and manufacturing partners had handshake agreements for Dell to subsidize R&D spend for new platform development. Audit team flagged areas for concern here.
- Worked with contacts at manufacturing facilities to understand nature of agreements and develop tracking framework to measure economic equity. Onboarded server controller to framework which is used today to monitor 17 sites

- Financial controller for all US medium business sales. Specifically covered pricing models for infrastructure solutions and software licenses
- Partnered directly with sales executives to structure POs (>$5M) in an attractive, market competitive manner.
- Additionally worked concurrently with product marketing, financial services, and market intelligence teams to leverage my perspective to create new initiatives to meet quarter-end sales attainment goals.
